Les Copains d'Abord is Clément Lavallée's Saint-Bris, from a one-hectare plot on a plateau slightly exposed to the west. The soil is shallow clay and silt over limestone, full of stones from the weathered bedrock, and the vines are about 30 to 35 years old.
