Chat Pitre Rouge is a convivial red, like the whole Chat Pitre range, made to be shared with friends over charcuterie and cheese. The grapes are fully destemmed and each variety is vinified on its own, and the wine then rests six months in tank. The estate describes red fruit such as morello cherries, redcurrants and wild strawberries under a spicy touch of white pepper, with a fresh finish. It goes well with grilled meat and spicy food too.
